Sinfonia de Montréal is recruiting!

Conservation du Musique de Qc à Mtl

Would you like to join an orchestra with an avid group of musicians?

 

Admission criteria:

  • Advanced training in classical music 

  • Regular attendance and punctuality at all rehearsals

  • Minimum age requirement is 24 years old 

  • Pass an audition with conductor and artistic director Louis Lavigueur

 

Once recruited, Sinfonia musicians are required to commit to an entire musical season. 

Rehearsals take place on Tuesday evenings from 7:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at the Conservatoire de musique de Montréal (Montreal Conservatory of Music), 4750 Avenue Henri-Julien, Montreal, QC H2T 2C8 (Laurier or Mont-Royal Metro stations) 

 

Musicians are required to pay an annual membership fee of $300 to participate in all rehearsals and concerts.
